Promises Kept!
You asked for results; I delivered. Far too many politicians make promises they can't keep. I believe you deserve better. You're my boss, so I listen and deliver:
Fentanyl penalties – You demanded tougher consequences for dealers pushing deadly fentanyl. I personally sponsored the legislation, shepherded it through both chambers, and got the Governor's signature. It's law.
Senior property tax relief – You said seniors shouldn't be taxed out of their homes. I fought for and won a property tax freeze for seniors. The program launches this year.
Cell phones in schools – You wanted kids focused on learning, not scrolling. Missouri public schools now control cell phones bell-to-bell. It's working.
Common sense and collaboration – You asked me to work across the aisle when it serves our district. I became the only legislator to sponsor IVF protection for Missouri and earned recognition as "Legislator of the Year for Women's Health Care."
Union support – I promised to stand with unions, fight right-to-work, and protect prevailing wage. Right-to-work is dead, and I'll keep it that way.
Smart budgeting – You wanted less wasteful spending but more investment in what matters. I helped cut $3 billion from the Governor's budget, then voted for record funding in public education, teacher salary increases, and a new mental health facility for our area.
Accessible representation – I held frequent town halls and welcomed everyone, regardless of viewpoint—even when others wouldn't.
Your voice, your vote – When you said "no" to redistricting initiatives, I stood with you and voted "no."
I work for you. Period.
